About this site

Mineral Commodities is an independent reference site run by Logan Russell. It presents the world production, reserves and U.S. supply tables of the U.S. Geological Survey’s Mineral Commodity Summaries 2026 in a form that is easier to browse: one page per mineral, one page per producing country, and an explorer for comparing them.

The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the U.S. Geological Survey or any government agency. USGS publications are U.S. Government works in the public domain; this site credits USGS as the source on every page and links to the original publication.

The figures are reproduced as published and the comparisons are worked out from them, as described on Reading the figures. Nothing here is investment, trading or purchasing advice, and no commodity prices are shown.
